We had an incredible dinner in only 40 mins! We made a reservation and highly recommend do it if you don't want to wait or seat outdoors. The service was very friendly and efficient The food 10/10. The prosciutto pizza was more than good, the pappardelle con fungi was our favorite tho

I believe this is my 2nd time eating here as the 1st time was many years ago. We were looking for place to eat and walked by and saw pizza on the tables and it looked too good to pass up. We each had a cocktail and our own pizza. If you're not very hungry you could share a pizza with 2 people. The pizza was so delicious that I did manage to finish mine although she didn't finish hers. There are many restaurants to choose from in this area but I would definitely go back here for the pizza.

Every time we’ve walked past this place, it’s been PACKED — so when we stumbled by on a Tuesday night and saw it had tables, we jumped at the opportunity to try it. So glad we did!!! The food is as warm and charming as the atmosphere. It has a strong 1960’s vibe, with lots of orange hues. We had the bruschetta, which came out promptly, and then washed it down with healthy portions of pasta. The carbonara was perfectly al dente and the tagliatelle bolognese was hearty. We wanted to try the desserts as well, but we were so full from the appetizer and entree that we had no room left! The service was warm — our waiter’s thick Italian accent really sold the fantasy of Little Italy — and even for a casual Tuesday night, the place was nearly full by the time we left. Reservations are well worth it; it’s easy to see (and taste) why it is always busy at Barbara’s.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner on 5-4-19. Ordered two bottles of wine. List was a good mix between old and new world . Kale and blood orange salad was very nice. Pasta was good. was excellent. Crust was very crispy, light and airy. Toppings were generous. Would come back for the ! Service was good. Not over attentive. Would come back again.

Second time at Barbara and had a great lunch here. Pictured is arugula salad with chicken and frutti di mare linguini, both great portions (not overly filling). Everything was fresh and tasted delicious, friendly service that makes sure to give enough attention. I do plan on returning.

I think the Mona Lisa restaurant on North Beach is a lot better restaurants and better food. My opinion because they’ve been in business for about 45 years from the same owner.
